Estee Lauder Companies has had conversations about the possible purchase of Charlotte Tilbury, WWD reports — but says negotiations haven’t progressed. Sources say, however, that Charlotte Tilbury is going through an M&A process. 

Rumors state that Charlotte Tilbury is hoping for $1.4 billion, but ELC was only offering $1 billion — and neither company went on the record with comments to WWD.
